أعلنت وسائل إعلام فرنسية، اليوم الثلاثاء، أن “السلطات الفرنسية بدأت محادثات مع قادة المجلس الانتقالي في النيجر، لسحب قواتها من هذا”.
وأفادت صحيفة “لوموند” الفرنسية، بأن “باريس تدرس نقل بعض قواتها من النيجر إلى تشاد، أو إعادتها إلى فرنسا”، مشيرة إلى أنه “لم يتم تحديد عدد الجنود المعنيين ولا شروط هذه المغادرة رسميا”.
وكان رئيس وزراء النيجر، علي محمد الأمين زين، قد شدد على ضرورة أن يغادر السفير الفرنسي في نيامي، البلاد بأسرع وقت ممكن، لافتًا إلى أن “هناك رغبة في الحفاظ على العلاقات مع باريس، ولكنها ترتكب تصرفات غير مقبولة”.
وقال الأمين زين في كلمة متلفزة، إن “بلاده ترغب في الحفاظ على العلاقات مع فرنسا، نظرا للعلاقات الكبيرة معها، ولكن باريس، ترتكب تصرفات غير مقبولة”، معربا عن أمله في لقاء الرئيس السابق محمد بازوم، بحسب قوله.
من جانبه، شدد الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون، الإثنين الماضي،على أن “سفير بلاده لدى النيجر، سيبقى في منصبه، رغم ضغوط الانقلابيين العسكريين”.
كما أكد ماكرون أن “فرنسا لن تغير موقفها في إدانة الانقلاب العسكري، وتقديم الدعم لبازوم”، مشددا على أنه “جرى إنتخابه بطريقة ديمقراطية، وكان “شجاعا” برفضه الإستقالة”.
وقد إتهم القضاء في النيجر، في 2 أيلول/ سبتمبر الجاري، “السفير الفرنسي بانتهاك الأعراف الدبلوماسية بعد رفضه إستدعاءه إلى وزارة الخارجية”.
وطالب الإدعاء العام في النيجر، في بيان له، “السلطات المعنية باتخاذ جميع الإجراءات لترحيل السفير الفرنسي وعائلته”، مؤكدًا أن “السفير الفرنسي لم يعد دبلوماسيا وليس لديه تصريح إقامة”.
