أكد المدير العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية رافايل غروسي الخميس خلال زيارة لطهران أن المهلة قصيرة أمام الولايات المتحدة وإيران للتوصل إلى اتفاق نووي جديد بعدما باشر البلدان مباحثات بهذا الشأن.
وأوضح غروسي لوسائل إعلام إيرانية “نحن في مرحلة حاسمة في هذه المفاوضات المهمة ، ندرك أننا لا نملك إلا مهلة قصيرة لذا أنا هنا لتسهيل هذه العملية”.
والوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية التابعة للأمم المتحدة ومقرها في فيينا، مكلفة التحقق من الطبيعة السلمية لبرنامج إيران النووي.
وتشتبه الدول الغربية وعلى رأسها الولايات المتحدة، فضلا عن إسرائيل منذ فترة طويلة بسعي إيران إلى امتلاك السلاح النووي. في المقابل تنفي طهران أن تكون تسعى لذلك مؤكدة أن أغراض برنامجها مدنية بحتة.
وذكرت وكالة الأنباء الإيرانية الرسمية (إرنا) أن غروسي يجري محادثات مع المدير العام للمنظمة الإيرانية للطاقة الذرية محمد إسلامي من دون توفير مزيد من التفاصيل.
وقد وصل غروسي الأربعاء إلى طهران حيث التقى وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي.
ورحب عراقجي وهو دبلوماسي متمرس قاد من الجانب الإيراني المحادثات حول البرنامج النووي، الخميس عبر منصة اكس بـ”مناقشة مجدية” مع غروسي مضيفا “في الأشهر المقبلة يمكن للوكالة أن تضطلع بدور أساسي في التسوية السلمية للملف النووي الإيراني”.
وندد الوزير الإيراني بـ”مثيري الاضطرابات الذين يتجمعون لإخراج المفاوضات الجارية عن السكة”.
ويبدو أن هذا الكلام يشير إلى تغير ظاهري في موقف إدارة الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب.
فقد أكد المفاوض الأميركي ستيف ويتكوف الثلاثاء أن على إيران “أن توقف برنامج التخصيب والعسكرة النووية والتخلص منه”.
وتعتبر إيران وقف كل نشاطاتها النووية بما يشمل الأغراض المدنية “خطا أحمر”.
