وفي لقاء سابق، أكدت سماحة أن مرض زوجها أثّر بشكل كبير على اهتمامه بالظهور الإعلامي، ولكنها قررت الحفاظ على خصوصية التفاصيل المتعلقة بحالته الصحية، كما تحدثت عن فترة دخول زوجها المستشفى في عام 2018.
