تلقى البنك المركزي المصري الجمعة الماضية شريحة أولى قيمتها مليار يورو (1.03 مليار دولار) من حزمة تمويل من الاتحاد الأوروبي حجمها 7.4 مليارات يورو (8.06 مليارات دولار)، حسب ما أعلن رئيس الوزراء مصطفى مدبولي مؤخرا .
وقال مدبولي في مؤتمر صحفي أمس “في إطار برنامج الشراكة مع الإتحاد الأوروبي، الإتحاد حوّل فعلا الشريحة الأولى من برنامج الدعم لمصر، وهي بمليار يورو.. وفعلا وصلت يوم الجمعة الماضي للبنك المركزي”.
وكان الإتحاد الأوروبي أعلن في مارس/آذار من العام المنصرم عن حزمة التمويل لمصر ضمن اتفاقية لرفع مستوى العلاقات بين الجانبين إلى “شراكة إستراتيجية”.
تهدف الاتفاقية إلى تعزيز التعاون بين الاتحاد ومصر في مجالات تشمل الطاقة المتجددة والتجارة والأمن مع تقديم منح وقروض وغيرها من أشكال التمويل على مدى 3 سنوات لدعم الاقتصاد المصري المتعثر.
وأظهرت وثيقة نشرها الاتحاد الأوروبي في ذلك الوقت أن التمويل المقترح يشمل:
قروضا ميسرة حجمها 5 مليارات يورو (5.18 مليارات دولار).
استثمارات بقيمة 1.8 مليار يورو (1.86 مليار دولار).
وسيقدم الاتحاد منحا قدرها 600 مليون يورو (621 مليون دولار) من بينها 200 مليون (207 ملايين دولار) لمواجهة مشكلات الهجرة.
