أثارت تصريحات وزير الداخلية الليبي بحكومة الوحدة الوطنية عماد الطرابلسي جدلا واسعا في البلاد بعد تصريحاته يوم الأربعاء الماضي عن نيته تفعيل شرطة الآداب وشرطة النساء إثر انتشار ما وصفها بالظواهر المنافية لقيم المجتمع الليبي.
وقال عماد الطرابلسي خلال مؤتمر لوزارة الداخلية أنه سيتم تفعيل إدارة متخصصة للآداب في كل المديريات التابعة للوزارة ابتداء من الشهر المقبل، وأعلن عن منعه قصات الشعر غير المناسبة للشباب ومنع استيراد الملابس غير اللائقة.
وأثارت تصريحات الطرابلسي نقاشا وجدلا في الشارع الليبي انعكس على منصات التواصل فهناك من رحب بها وطالب بتطبيقها، وهناك من اعتبرها انتهاكا لحريته الشخصية، وكان من بين من هاجم هذه التصريحات منظمات حقوقية وعالمية.
ولكن أكثر ما أثار الجدل وغضبَ بعض الليبيين البيانُ الذي أصدرته منظمة العفو الدولية والذي تهاجم فيه تصريحات وزير الداخلية عماد الطرابلسي، وقالت منظمة العفو “تعد تهديدات وزير الداخلية بقمع الحريات الأساسية بإسم “الأخلاق” تصعيدًا خطيرًا في مستويات القمع الخانقة أصلًا في ليبيا بوجه الذين لا يمتثلون للمعايير الاجتماعية السائدة”.

ردًا على إعلان وزير الداخلية في حكومة الوحدة الوطنية، ومقرها طرابلس، عماد الطرابلسي، عن إجراءات واسعة النطاق من شأنها أن ترسّخ التمييز ضد النساء والفتيات وتنتقص من حقوقهن في حرية التعبير والدين…
