ولإعداد قائمة العام، صنفت فوربس الشرق الأوسط الرؤساء التنفيذيين بالاعتماد على عوامل مختلفة، بما فيها إنجازات وأداء الرئيس التنفيذي خلال العام الماضي، فضلًا عن الابتكارات والمبادرات التي نفذها، وحجم الشركة التي يقودها، وتأثيره على الأعمال والأسواق التي يشرف عليها.
وقد شمل التصنيف الرؤساء التنفيذيين للشركات التي يقع مقرها الرئيسي في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا حصرًا.
تصدر التصنيف أمين حسن الناصر، الرئيس وكبير الإداريين التنفيذيين في أرامكو السعودية. ويليه في المركز الثاني سلطان الجابر، الرئيس التنفيذي للمجموعة والعضو المنتدب لشركة بترول أبوظبي الوطنية (أدنوك).
بينما حلّ في المركز الثالث، أحمد بن سعيد آل مكتوم، رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لطيران الإمارات والمجموعة، ثم سعد بن شريده الكعبي، نائب رئيس مجلس الإدارة والعضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي لقطر للطاقة.
وقد احتفظوا جميعهم بمراكزهم ذاتها في قائمة العام الماضي. في حين تقدم سيد بصر شعيب، الرئيس التنفيذي والعضو المنتدب في الشركة العالمية القابضة (IHC) بـ4 مراكز من المركز التاسع إلى المركز الخامس في قائمة هذا العام.
تضم قائمة العام 100 قائد أعمال من 19 جنسية مختلفة، حيث تصدر الإماراتيون التصنيف بـ27 رئيسًا تنفيذيًا، يليهم المصريون بـ21 قياديًا، ثم السعوديون بـ14 رئيسًا تنفيذيًا، ليشكلوا معًا 62% من إجمالي التصنيف.
ويعكس ذلك توجهًا متزايدًا نحو التوطين، مع تولي معظم الشركات الكبرى رؤساء تنفيذيين محليين.
كذلك يهيمن قطاع البنوك على القائمة بـ19 قائدًا، يليه قطاع العقارات بـ10 قادة، مما يعكس الطفرة التي حققها القطاع على مدار العامين الماضيين. كما يقود الرؤساء في المراكز الـ10 الأولى في القائمة شركات تعمل في 6 قطاعات مختلفة.
وفي سعيهم لتعزيز الابتكار والكفاءة، أطلق العديد من القادة المُصنفين في القائمة أعمالًا ومشاريع جديدة، لتوسيع نطاق تأثيرهم في المنطقة.
ففي هذا العام، أعلنت مجموعة أسياد بقيادة الرئيس التنفيذي عبدالرحمن الحاتمي، عن إنشاء مشروع حفيت للقطارات، بالإضافة إلى بدء عمليات إدارة وتشغيل محطة أسياد للحاويات في ميناء الدقم بسلطنة عمان.
بينما أطلقت شركة كونتكت المالية القابضة، بقيادة الرئيس التنفيذي سعيد زعتر، برنامج تمويل جديد يهدف إلى دعم شراء السيارات الكهربائية.
وطرحت شركة ألمنيوم البحرين (البا) بقيادة الرئيس التنفيذي علي البقالي، خط منتجات “إترنال” منخفض الكربون، الذي يحتوي على 30% و15% من الألمنيوم المعاد تدويره، في مايو الماضي.
