قدم رئيس الوزير بمجلس الحرب الإسرائيلي بيني غانتس، الأحد، مقترحا لتشكيل لجنة تحقيق رسمية في هجوم 7 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول 2023، الذي نفذه مقاتلون فلسطينيون على المستوطنات المحاذية لقطاع غزة.
ودعا غانتس في المقترح الذي قدمه إلى سكرتارية الحكومة الإسرائيلية، إلى التحقيق في كافة الأحداث التي سبقت الحرب، واتخاذ القرار على المستويين السياسي والعسكري، وكذلك سلوك المستويين خلال الحرب نفسها، وفق صحيفة “يديعوت أحرونوت” العبرية.
وقالت الصحيفة إن غانتس أعلن قبل 3 أيام أنه يعتزم تقديم المقترح، بعد انتقاد رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو للجيش الإسرائيلي الذي أعلن أنه أرسل له 4 تحذيرات قبل الحرب.
والخميس، قال نتنياهو في بيان إن “ادعاء المؤسسة العسكرية أنه تم تحذيري قبل 7 أكتوبر من هجوم محتمل من غزة مناف للحقيقة”.
وتابع نتنياهو أن “تقييمات المؤسسة الأمنية لا تشير إلى أي تحذير من نية حماس مهاجمة إسرائيل، بل تقدم تقييما معاكسا”، مشددا على أن “الأجهزة الأمنية ادعت دائما أن حماس تم ردعها”.
ونقلت الصحيفة عن مسؤولين سياسيين لم تسمهم، إن مقترح غانتس بتشكيل لجنة تحقيق رسمية يأتي في إطار تحضيره للانسحاب من الحكومة.
وفي 18 مايو/أيار الجاري، أمهل غانتس رئيس الوزراء حتى 8 يونيو/حزيران المقبل، لوضع إستراتيجية واضحة للحرب وما بعدها وإلا سينسحب من الحكومة.
وانضم غانتس إلى حكومة نتنياهو كوزير في مجلس الحرب الذي تشكل عقب اندلاع الحرب.
وسبق أن أكد رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو، أن تشكيل لجنة تحقيق رسمية في أحداث 7 أكتوبر سيتم فقط بعد انتهاء الحرب.
ويتعرض نتنياهو لانتقادات واسعة النطاق، على خلفية فشل التنبؤ المسبق بهجوم الفصائل الفلسطينية على مستوطنات إسرائيل المحاذية للقطاع، وطريقة تعاطيه مع ملف المحتجزين في غزة.
ووسط حصار خانق تفرضه إسرائيل على غزة منذ 18 عاما، وتصعيد لانتهاكاتها بحق المسجد الأقصى بالقدس، شنت فصائل فلسطينية بينها حماس والجهاد الإسلامي، هجوما مباغتا على مواقع عسكرية ومستوطنات محاذية للقطاع في 7 أكتوبر الماضي، أسرت خلاله نحو 239 شخصا.
ولاحقا، بادلت الفصائل 105 من هؤلاء الأسرى، وبعضهم عمال أجانب، بالعديد من الأسرى الفلسطينيين في السجون الإسرائيلية، خلال هدنة إنسانية مؤقتة استمرت 7 أيام، وانتهت مطلع ديسمبر/ كانون الأول 2023.
وبينما تتحدث تل أبيب عن بقاء 121 أسيرا من هؤلاء بأيدي الفصائل، تؤكد الأخيرة مقتل عشرات من الأسرى بغارات إسرائيلية على القطاع.
