قالت القناة “13” الإسرائيلية ، الأربعاء، إن رئيس الوزراء البريطاني ريشي سوناك أبلغ نظيره الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو بأن لندن قد تصبح مضطرة لإعلان إسرائيل “دولة منتهكة” للقانون الإنساني الدولي، على خلفية استشهاد 7 من عمال الإغاثة العاملين ضمن منظمة “المطبخ المركزي العالمي” بقطاع غزة.
جاء ذلك خلال اتصال هاتفي بينهما، مساء الثلاثاء، وفق ما أوردت القناة العبرية.
وحسب القناة، قال سوناك لنتنياهو: “الضرر الذي لحق بعمال الإغاثة لا يطاق.. أنا أفهم أن سياستكم هي السماح بمرور المساعدات الإنسانية بقدر ما هو مطلوب، ولكن في الواقع ذلك لا يحدث”.
وأضاف: “بريطانيا تدعم القضاء على حماس – ولكن ليس على حساب كارثة إنسانية.. وبدون زيادة المساعدات، قد نضطر إلى إعلان إسرائيل دولة منتهكة للقانون الإنساني الدولي.. وهذا ليس جيدًا بالنسبة لنا أو لكم”.
ولم تشر القناة لأي تفاصيل تتعلق بالخطوات التي قد تتخذها لندن لإعلان إسرائيل دولة منتهكة للقانون الإنساني الدولي.
وفي السياق، نقلت القناة عن مسؤولين سياسيين إسرائيليين لم تسمهم إن “مثل هذه الخطوة، إذا تم تنفيذها بالفعل، ستؤدي إلى فرض عقوبات على إسرائيل تتعلق بالتسليح ومبيعات الأسلحة “.
وحسب القناة، رد نتنياهو على سوناك، قائلا: “في الأيام المقبلة ستشهدون بالفعل زيادة في المساعدات الإنسانية، ونحن نعمل على برنامج مساعدات واسع النطاق”.
وأضافت أن سوناك حث نتنياهو خلال المكالمة على أن يسمح لبريطانيا “بالتحقق من وضع السجناء الفلسطينيين في إسرائيل”.
ورد نتنياهو بقوله: “من الصعب السماح بالزيارات، ومختطفونا يعانون من الفظائع، لكنني سأنظر في الأمر”، على حد زعمه.
من جانبه، رد مكتب نتنياهو على طلب تعليق توجهت به القناة العبرية، قائلا إن “رئيس الوزراء أعرب لرئيس الوزراء البريطاني عن أسفه لمقتل عمال الإغاثة، لكنه دافع عن المصالح الإسرائيلية في إطار الحرب”.
ومساء الإثنين، استهدف الجيش الإسرائيلي عبر قصف جوي قافلة لمنظمة “المطبخ المركزي العالمي” (غير حكومية) بمدينة دير البلح وسط قطاع غزة، ما أسفر عن استشهاد 7 أشخاص يحملون جنسيات أستراليا وبولندا وبريطانيا والولايات المتحدة وكندا وفلسطين.
وأقر رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، الثلاثاء، بمسؤولية بلاده عن هذا القصف، لكنه زعم أنه “استهداف غير مقصود”، فيما قال الجيش الإسرائيلي إنه فتح تحقيقا “معمقا في الحادث من خلال أعلى الرتب في الجيش لفهم جميع ملابساته”.
وعقب الحادثة، أعلنت “المطبخ المركزي العالمي”، الثلاثاء، تعليق عملياتها لنقل المساعدات الإنسانية في غزة، معربة عن شعورها “بالصدمة” لمقتل 7 من أعضاء فريقها في غارة للجيش الإسرائيلي على غزة.
