أعلنت الهيئة العليا المستقلة للإنتخابات في تونس، اليوم الجمعة، عن تقدم 1427 مترشح، من بينهم 214 من النساء، للإنتخابات البرلمانية المبكرة والمقررة في 17 كانون الأول/ديسمبر المقبل.
وأغلقت المكاتب المخصصة لقبول الترشحات مساء الخميس بعد أن تم التمديد من قبل الهيئة لمدة 72 ساعة.
وتمثل الانتخابات البرلمانية المحطة الأخيرة لخارطة الطريق التي وضعها الرئيس التونسي قيس سعيد منذ إعلانه التدابير الإستثنائية يوم 25 تموز/يوليو 2021 وحله البرلمان وتعليقه لاحقا العمل بدستور 2014 وحل الهيئات الدستورية .
وتجرى الإنتخابات لهذا العام بنظام الإقتراع على الأفراد بدل الإقتراع على القوائم، وفق القانون الإنتخابي الجديد الذي وضعه الرئيس التونسي، والذي قلص عدد المقاعد في البرلمان من 217 إلى .165
ولقي القانون الإنتخابي إنتقادات من المعارضة بسبب التعقيدات في شرط جمع 400 تزكية من الناخبين من قبل المترشحين، ومخاطر تسرب المال الفاسد لشراء تلك التزكيات التي يقع توثيقها في سجلات البلديات.
