صرحت صحيفة “بوليتيكو” إن الإدارة الأمريكية ضغطت على رئيس أوكرانيا فلاديمير زيلينسكي لكي يشطب من قائمة شروط بدء الحوار، شرط عدم التفاوض مع الرئيس فلاديمير بوتين.
ونقلت الصحيفة عن مصادر مطلعة، أن زيلينسكي طرح في 7 نوفمبر خمسة شروط لبدء المفاوضات مع روسيا، وضمنها لم يرد ذكر إستحالة المفاوضات مع الرئيس بوتين.
وقد شددت الصحيفة، على أن هذا التغيير في الموقف الأوكراني، “يرتبط بشكل مباشر بتنبيه لتعليمات من إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن”.
ووفقا لمعلومات الصحيفة، خفف زيلينسكي مسلكه المتشدد بعد مباحثات مطولة بين كييف وواشنطن، بما في ذلك خلال زيارة مستشار الأمن القومي الأمريكي جيك سوليفان إلى أوكرانيا. ونوهت الصحيفة، بأن المسؤولين الأمريكيين لم يطلبوا مباشرة من زيلينسكي تغيير موقفه من المفاوضات، لكنهم أكدوا على ضرورة إستعراض كييف إستعدادها لإنهاء النزاع سلميا أمام كل العالم.
وكان زيلينسكي طرح 5 شروط لبدء التفاوض مع روسيا هي :
- إستعادة وحدة أراضي البلاد.
- إحترام ميثاق منظمة الأمم المتحدة.
- تعويض الأضرار الناجمة عن الحرب.
- معاقبة كل مجرم حرب.
- إعطاء ضمانات بعدم تكرار ما حدث.
