رحبت الإمارات العربية المتحدة، الإثنين، بقرار محكمة العدل الدولية في لاهاي برفض الدعوى المقدمة من قبل القوات المسلحة السودانية ضد دولة الإمارات، استنادا إلى الغياب الواضح للاختصاص القضائي.
وبناء على هذا القرار، سيتم رفع القضية من سجل المحكمة، وإنهاء كافة الإجراءات المتعلقة بها بشكل رسمي.
ويؤكد هذا القرار ما كان جليا منذ مدة طويلة، وهو أن الدعوى المقدمة من قبل القوات المسلحة السودانية باطلة ولا أساس لها من الصحة، حسبما أفادت وكالة أنباء الإمارات (وام).
لطالما أعربت دولة الإمارات عن رفضها ادعاءات القوات المسلحة السودانية الزائفة والتي تمثل محاولة واضحة لتشتيت الانتباه عما اقترفه الجيش من فظائع إنسانية في السودان.
وفي بيان لها، قالت ريم كتيت نائب مساعدة وزير الخارجية للشؤون السياسية في وزارة الخارجية ممثلة دولة الإمارات أمام المحكمة: “يؤكد القرار بشكل واضح وقطعي أن الدعوى المقدمة لا أساس لها من الصحة.. ومن البديهي، فإن قرار اليوم يمثل رفضا حاسما لمحاولة القوات المسلحة السودانية استغلال المحكمة لنشر المعلومات المضللة وتشتيت الانتباه عن مسؤوليتها في الصراع”.
وأضافت: “مع دخول الحرب المدمرة في السودان عامها الثالث، تدعو دولة الإمارات القوات المسلحة السودانية وقوات الدعم السريع لإنهاء الحرب دون شروط مسبقة، والالتزام في المفاوضات، والسماح بالوصول إلى المساعدات الإنسانية دون أي عوائق. يجب أن يتحرك المجتمع الدولي بشكل حازم لتسهيل الانتقال إلى عملية سياسية بقيادة مدنية مستقلة عن سيطرة الجيش، ومحاسبة المسؤولين عن ارتكاب الفظائع الإنسانية”.
كما اختتمت كتيت بيانها قائلة: “نؤكد التزامنا بالتعاون مع الشركاء الإقليميين والدوليين لتعزيز العمل الجماعي وبناء مستقبل يسوده السلام والازدهار للشعب السوداني”.
