وصل ميخائيل بوغدانوف نائب وزير الخارجية الروسي إلى العاصمة السورية دمشق اليوم الثلاثاء في أول زيارة يقوم بها مسؤول روسي للبلاد منذ الإطاحة بالرئيس بشار الأسد.
وذكرت قناة روسيا اليوم أن بوغدانوف يزور سوريا على رأس وفد رفيع من وزارة الخارجية الروسية، وسيجري مباحثات مع رئيس الإدارة السورية الجديدة أحمد الشرع ووزير الخارجية أسعد الشيباني.
ونقلت القناة عن بوغدانوف قوله إن الزيارة “تأتي في سياق تعزيز العلاقات التاريخية بين روسيا الاتحادية وسوريا وفق قاعدة المصالح المشتركة”، وأكد أن روسيا “حريصة على وحدة واستقلال وسلامة الأراضي السورية وتحقيق الوفاق والسلم الاجتماعي في البلاد”.
