وتقول وكالة “رويترز” إن قرار ترفيع رتب القادة الأجانب “تهدف إلى منح أدوار رسمية لهم”، بما في ذلك أدوارا رفيعة المستوى، وتضيف في المقابل أنها “ربما تثير قلق بعض الحكومات الأجنبية والسوريين الذين يخشون نوايا الإدارة الجديدة”، مما انعكس بالفعل خلال الأيام الماضية، جدل كبير على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
