بدأت -اليوم الخميس- في العاصمة المصرية القاهرة قمة مجموعة الثماني الإسلامية أو منظمة الدول الثماني النامية للتعاون الاقتصادي، المعروفة أيضا بإسم “الدول الثماني النامية” والتي تضم في عضويتها، مصر وتركيا وإيران ونيجيريا وباكستان وبنغلاديش وإندونيسيا وماليزيا.
وتعقد القمة تحت عنوان “الاستثمار في الشباب، دعم الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة.. تشكيل اقتصاد الغد.. وتنعقد القمة حضوريا للمرة الأولى منذ 7 سنوات.
وقال مفوض مصر لدى منظمة الدول الثماني السفير راجي الإتربي إن غالبية الدول الأعضاء ستكون ممثلة على مستوى القمة خلال أعمال القمة الـ11، والتي تستضيفها مصر في ضوء رئاستها للمنظمة، والتي تمتد حتى نهاية 2025.
وشهد اجتماع مجلس وزراء المجموعة -أمس- تسليم بنغلاديش الرئاسة الدورية إلى مصر حتى نهاية 2025، برئاسة الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي.
كما ستعقد جلسة خاصة بشأن غزة ولبنان، وسيحضرها الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس.. كما ستشهد القمة اجتماع الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان ونظيره الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان لأول مرة منذ الإطاحة بالرئيس السوري المخلوع بشار الأسد.
ووصل بزشكيان إلى القاهرة يوم الأربعاء، وهو أول رئيس إيراني يزور مصر منذ محمود أحمدي نجاد الذي زارها في عام 2013.
وقال قبل مغادرته طهران إن القمة فرصة للدول الإسلامية “لتقريب وجهات النظر، وهذا يمكن أن يكون له تأثير كبير على الدبلوماسية والتفاعلات الإقليمية”.
كانت العلاقات بين مصر وإيران متوترة لعقود من الزمن، لكن الاتصالات الدبلوماسية تكثفت منذ أن أصبحت القاهرة وسيطًا في الحرب في غزة.
وزار وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي مصر في أكتوبر/تشرين الأول، في حين سافر نظيره المصري بدر عبد العاطي إلى طهران في يوليو/تموز لحضور تنصيب بزشكيان.
وقال عراقجي قبل القمة إنه يأمل أن “ترسل رسالة قوية إلى العالم مفادها أن الاعتداءات والانتهاكات الإسرائيلية في غزة ولبنان وسوريا” ستنتهي “على الفور”.
وسيعقد الرئيس التركي أردوغان، مناقشات مع زعماء القمة حول التجارة وكذلك غزة ولبنان، التي شهدت حربًا استمرت عاما بين إسرائيل وحزب الله وانتهت بوقف إطلاق نار هش في 27 نوفمبر/تشرين الأول الماضي.
وإلى جانب السيسي وأردوغان وبزشكيان وعباس يشارك في القمة الرئيس الإندونيسي برابوو سوبيانتو، ورئيس وزراء باكستان شهباز شريف، ورئيس وزراء بنغلاديش محمد يونس، ورئيس وزراء أذربيجان علي أسدوف، ووزير التعليم العالي الماليزي زامبري عبد القادر والأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية أحمد أبو الغيط، والأمين العام لمنظمة التعاون الإسلامي حسين إبراهيم طه، ورئيس الحكومة اللبنانية نجيب ميقاتي.
يذكر أن مجموعة الدول الثماني النامية تأسست في عام 1997، وتهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون بين الدول الأعضاء، وتمتد من مناطق من جنوب شرق آسيا إلى أفريقيا.
ويبلغ مجموع سكان هذه الدول الإسلامية الثماني نحو 1.2 مليار نسمة يشكلون 60% من مجمل السكان المسلمين وكذلك قرابة 13% من مجمل سكان العالم.
وتبلغ مساحة هذه الدول الثماني 7.6 ملايين كيلومتر مربع وتشكل 5% من مجمل مساحة العالم.. وبلغت التجارة بين الدول الأعضاء في هذه المجموعة 35 مليار دولار عام 2006 ونحو 68 مليار دولار عام 2010.
