بعثت إدارة الشؤون السياسية في سوريا برسالة لعدد من الدول العربية لاستئناف عمل بعثاتها الدبلوماسية في دمشق بعد سقوط نظام بشار الأسد.
وتوجهت الإدارة برسالة شكر إلى كل من مصر والعراق والسعودية والإمارات والأردن والبحرين وسلطنة عمان إضافة إلى إيطاليا على استنئاف بعثاتها العمل في سوريا.
وقالت إنها تلقت “وعودا مباشرة” من قطر وتركيا “لإعادة افتتاح سفارتيهما في سوريا” آملة في “بناء علاقات طيبة مع كل الدول التي تحترم إرادة الشعب وسيادة الدولة السورية ووحدة أراضيها”.
وكانت دول خليجية قطعت عدة علاقاتها الدبلوماسية مع سوريا وأغلقت سفاراتها في دمشق اعتبارا من العام 2012، احتجاجا على قمع دمشق التظاهرات السلمية التي شهدتها البلاد آنذاك، قبل أن تستأنفها تباعا بدءا من العام 2018 باستثناء قطر.
وبعيد إسقاط الأسد، أعلنت قطر الأربعاء أنها ستعيد قريبا فتح سفارتها في سوريا، في خطوة قالت إنها تعكس “دعم دولة قطر الثابت للشعب السوري الشقيق، الذي يتطلع لبناء دولته على أسس العدالة والسلام والاستقرار والازدهار”.
وبقيت قطر التي قدمت دعما مبكرا للفصائل المعارضة التي انتفضت ضد نظام الأسد عام 2011، منتقدة شرسة للرئيس السوري في موازاة دعواتها إلى حل دبلوماسي للنزاع.
وتعد تركيا كذلك من أبرز داعمي الفصائل المعارضة، وقدمت دعما سياسيا للمعارضة السياسية في سنوات النزاع الأولى.
وكانت روما أعلنت الشهر الماضي وصول سفيرها إلى دمشق بعد 12 عاما من اغلاق سفارتها على غرار دول أوروبية كثيرة.
وقال وزير الخارجية الإيطالي أنتونيو تاياني الأحد إن جماعة مسلحة دخلت حديقة مقر إقامة السفير الإيطالي في دمشق وسرقت ثلاث سيارات منها، “لكنّ أحدا لم يمس السفير أو عناصر الشرطة (الإيطالية) الذين كانوا في المقر”.
وتستعيد دمشق تباعا حركتها الاعتيادية مع إعادة فتح المحال التجارية والأسواق والمؤسسات، بعد توقف وجيز إثر سيطرة الفصائل المعارضة المسلحة على العاصمة، بعد الإطاحة بالرئيس بشار الأحد.
وكلّفت الفصائل المسلحة المعارضة الثلاثاء محمّد البشير الذي كان يرأس “حكومة الإنقاذ” في إدلب معقل فصائل المعارضة في شمال غرب البلاد، تولّي رئاسة حكومة تصريف الأعمال حتى مطلع مارس المقبل.
