كشفت صحيفة “واينت” العبرية في تقرير عن الفترة الأخيرة في حياة قائد حركة المقاومة الإسلامية حماس يحيى السنوار، والتي تضمنت أنه لم يتناول الطعام قبل استشهاده بـ3 أيام، بالإضافة إلى أنه استطاع خداع الاحتلال والاشتباك معهم بشكل مباشر خلال الشهور الأخيرة.

وفي الـ 18 من أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول الماضي، أعلنت حركة المقاومة الإسلامية “حماس”، يوم الجمعة، استشهاد رئيس مكتبها السياسي يحيى السنوار في اشتباك مسلح مع قوات الاحتلال في محور قتال متقدم في حي تل السلطان في رفح.
وبحسب إذاعة جيش الاحتلال، فإن السنوار ارتقى بعد اشتباك خاضه مع جنود إسرائيليين بحي تل السلطان في رفح، وقالت إنه “كان يرتدي جعبة عسكرية فيها مخازن رصاص وعدد من القنابل اليدوية، ومعه قيادي ميداني آخر”.
وقالت صحيفة “هآرتس” العبرية، إنه “لم يتم العثور على أية آثار لوجود (مختطفين) في المبنى الذي كان فيه السنوار، أو المنطقة المحيطة به”، كما نقلت خبر إصابة مقاتل من الكتيبة 450 بجروح بليغة في الاشتباك الذي نفذته قوات معزّزة من الجيش مع 3 مقاتلين فلسطينيين، من ضمنهم الشهيد السنوار.
وأشارت هآرتس إلى، أن أحد الجنود قد لاحظ وجود حركة مشبوهة في أحد المباني في تل السلطان. وبعد حوالي 5 ساعات، رصدت مسيّرة عسكرية إسرائيلية 3 أشخاص يغادرون المبنى ويتنقلون بين المنازل في المنطقة.. فأطلقت القوة النار عليهم، ورد المقاتلون الفلسطينيون بإطلاق النار.
