أعلنت لجنة التراث في العالم الإسلامي، في التقرير الختامي لاجتماعها الثاني عشر، الذي استضافته مدينة شوشا في جمهورية أذربيجان، يومي 8 و9 أكتوبر الماضي 2024، تسجيل 91 موقعا تاريخيا وعنصرا ثقافيا، على قوائم الإيسيسكو للتراث في العالم الإسلامي، وتتوزع هذه المواقع والعناصر على القوائم النهائية والتمهيدية للتراث المادي وغير المادي، وبهذا يصل عدد المواقع والعناصر المسجلة على قوائم الإيسيسكو إلى 724 موقعا وعنصرا.
وقد اعتمدت لجنة التراث في العالم الإسلامي، بعد دراسة الملفات المقدمة من الدول الأعضاء في الإيسيسكو لتسجيل تراثها، تسجيل 69 موقعا تاريخيا وعنصرا ثقافيا على القائمة النهائية، في 23 دول هي: الأردن، والإمارات، وأوزبكستان، وبنغلاديش، وسلطنة عمان، ونيجيريا، وفلسطين، ومصر، والمغرب، وموريتانيا، وإيران، وبوركينا فاسو، وماليزيا، والسعودية، والبرازيل، وروسيا، وأفغانستان، وغينيا، والعراق، وليبيا، ومالي، والنيجر، وسوريا.
كما قررت اللجنة تسجيل 22 ملفا على القائمة التمهيدية للتراث في العالم الإسلامي، مقدمة من 4 دول، هي: أوزبكستان، وفلسطين، وموريتانيا، ومصر.
