انتهت في الجزائر، منتصف ليلة الثلاثاء/ الأربعاء، ثلاثة أسابيع من الدعاية للانتخابات الرئاسية، وبدأ صمت انتخابي يستمر حتى الاقتراع السبت المقبل.
ويتنافس في الانتخابات كل من الرئيس المنتهية ولايته عبد المجيد تبون، ورئيس حركة مجتمع السلم (أكبر حزب إسلامي) عبد العالي حساني، والسكرتير الأول لجبهة القوى الاشتراكية (أقدم حزب معارض) يوسف أوشيش.
وقالت السلطة الوطنية المستقلة للانتخابات، عبر بيان في وقت متأخر الثلاثاء: لا يمكن، مهما كانت الوسيلة، القيام بدعاية انتخابية خارج الفترة المحددة من 14 أغسطس/ آب الماضي إلى 3 سبتمبر/ أيلول الجاري، بموجب المادة 74 من قانون الانتخابات.
وأضافت أن المادة 81 أيضا تنص صراحة على أنه “يُمنع نشر وبث سبر الآراء واستطلاع نوايا الناخبين قبل اثنتين وسبعين (72) ساعة من تاريخ الاقتراع على التراب الوطني، أي من الأربعاء 4 سبتمبر (أيلول) 2024″.
وفي اليوم الأخيرة للحملة، اختار المرشحون الثلاثة الجزائر العاصمة، لعقد آخر تجمعاتهم.
وفي ظل غياب مؤسسات مختصة بإجراء استطلاعات للرأي في الجزائر، يتوقع معظم المراقبين فوز تبون بولاية ثانية مدتها خمس سنوات.
والاثنين، بدأ الناخبون الجزائريون خارج البلاد، ويفوق عددهم 865 ألف مسجل، التصويت في الانتخابات الرئاسية المبكرة المقررة بالداخل في 7 سبتمبر/ أيلول الجاري.
ويوجد 24 مليونا و351 ألفا و551 ناخبا مسجلا في القوائم الانتخابية، منهم 23 مليونا و486 ألفا و61 داخل البلاد، وفق سلطة الانتخابات.
