كشفت صحيفة يديعوت أحرونوت الإسرائيلية، أن الجيش الإسرائيلي ضاعف وجوده في مرتفعات الجولان والمنطقة العازلة مع سوريا، مع إجرائه محادثات مع أنقرة لتنسيق النشاط العسكري في سوريا.
ووفق الصحيفة: “أجرت إسرائيل محادثات مع ممثلين من تركيا لتنسيق النشاط العسكري في سوريا”.
ويعتقد الجيش الإسرائيلي، أن تركيا مهتمة بتكوين جيش دائم للشرع (الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع)، خاصة بعد تدمير العديد من مخزونات الأسلحة الكبيرة للنظام السوري السابق، من قبل القوات الإسرائيلية.. ومع ذلك، لا تزال أنقرة مترددة بشأن التكلفة المالية.
