حذّر وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس الخميس من أن إسرائيل سترد بقوة إذا فشلت الحكومة السورية في حماية الأقلية الدرزية، عقب يومين من الاشتباكات الدامية قرب دمشق.
وقال كاتس في بيان “إذا استؤنفت الهجمات على الدروز وفشل النظام السوري في منعها، فسترد إسرائيل بقدر كبير من القوة”.
وأعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي أنه نقل درزيين سوريين جريحين للعلاج، وأكد أنه “منتشر في جنوب سوريا، وهو مستعدٌّ لمنع دخول القوات المعادية إلى منطقة القرى الدرزية”.
وخلال يومين من الاشتباكات ذات الخلفية الطائفية في سوريا، قتل أكثر من مئة شخص بالإضافة إلى عشرات الجرحى، غالبيتهم مقاتلون دروز، وفق حصيلة جديدة أوردها المرصد السوري لحقوق الإنسان الخميس.
وأحصى المرصد مقتل 30 عنصراً من قوات الأمن ومقاتلين تابعين لوزارة الدفاع السورية، في مقابل 21 مسلحاً درزياً و10 مدنيين، من بينهم رئيس بلدية صحنايا السابق وابنه، وقضى جميعهم يومي الثلاثاء والأربعاء في الاشتباكات في منطقتي جرمانا وصحنايا قرب دمشق.
وفي محافظة السويداء في الجنوب، قُتل 40 مسلحاً درزياً، 35 منهم جراء “كمين” على طريق السويداء دمشق الأربعاء.
في حين، أفادت شبكة السويداء 24 المحلية للأنباء، بمقتل “ثلّة من أبناء الجبل على طريق دمشق السويداء بكمين غادر”.
وأتى ذلك، بعد ساعات من التوصل إلى “اتفاق مبدئي” بوقف إطلاق النار في جرمانا وأشرفية صحنايا في ريف دمشق، بحسب ما ذكرت وكالة الأنباء السورية “سانا”، وذلك بحضور محافظي ريف دمشق والسويداء والقنيطرة، وعدد من الوجهاء والشخصيات الاجتماعية.
