حذرت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة “يونسيف”، الأربعاء، من أن مئات آلاف الأطفال يتعرضون للخطر جراء تصاعد القتال في مخيم زمزم للنازحين بمدينة الفاشر غربي السودان.
وقالت يونسيف في بيان مقتضب عبر منصة “إكس”: “يتعرض مئات آلاف الأطفال للخطر مع تصاعد القتال في الفاشر ومخيم زمزم وما حولهما في ولاية شمال دارفور”.
وفي وقت سابق الأربعاء، أعلن الجيش السوداني تصديه لهجوم من قوات الدعم السريع على مخيم زمزم، بينما أفاد حاكم الولاية مني أركو مناوي، أن قوات الدعم السريع “هاجمت مخيم زمزم للمرة الثانية خلال يومين”.
ودعا مناوي “المجتمع الدولي والإقليمي، لتسليط الضوء على هذه الأحداث الكارثية والإبادة الجماعية التي ترتكبها المليشيا (الدعم السريع) ضد سكان المخيم”.
والثلاثاء، قالت منظمة أطباء بلا حدود في بيان: “مع تصاعد هجمات قوات الدعم السريع حول الفاشر وفرض الحصار على المدينة ومخيم زمزم، تعرب أطباء بلا حدود عن قلقها البالغ بشأن سلامة موظفيها ومئات آلاف الأشخاص الذين يعيشون بالفعل تحت القصف والجوع في أكبر مخيم للنازحين في السودان”.
ومنذ 10 مايو/ أيار 2024، تشهد الفاشر اشتباكات بين الجيش و”الدعم السريع”، رغم تحذيرات دولية من المعارك في المدينة التي تعد مركز العمليات الإنسانية لولايات دارفور الخمس.
ويخوض الجيش و”الدعم السريع” منذ منتصف أبريل/ نيسان 2023 حربا خلّفت أكثر من 20 ألف قتيل ونحو 15 مليون نازح ولاجئ، وفق الأمم المتحدة والسلطات المحلية، بينما قدر بحث لجامعات أمريكية عدد القتلى بنحو 130 ألفا.
