تجاوزت الخسائر الاقتصادية في لبنان 5 مليارات دولار خلال أكثر من عام من الحرب بين حزب الله واسرائيل، كما قدّر تقرير صادر عن البنك الدولي الخميس، مشيرا إلى أن التصعيد في لبنان ألحق أضرارا بنحو 100 ألف وحدة سكنية.
وقدّم تقرير البنك الدولي تقديرات للأضرار الناجمة عن الحرب بين حزب الله واسرائيل خلال الفترة الممتدة بين 8 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2023 و27 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2024، مشيرا إلى أن “النزاع تسبب في خسائر اقتصادية بقيمة 5,1 مليار دولار”، بالإضافة إلى أضرار مادية تصل قيمتها إلى “ما لا يقل عن 3,4 مليار دولار”.
وتركّزت الأضرار وفق البنك الدولي “خصوصا في قطاعات التجارة والسياحة والضيافة، وفي قطاع الزراعة”.
وأشار إلى أنه “من المتوقع أن تتجاوز التكلفة النهائية للأضرار والخسائر في لبنان المرتبطة بالنزاع بشكل كبير” تلك التقديرات.
وبحسب البنك الدولي، “تسبب النزاع في تضرر ما يقدر بـ99209 وحدات سكنية، ومن بين هذه الوحدات المتضررة، يقدّر أن 18 بالمئة مدمرة بالكامل، بينما 82 بالمئة تعرضت لأضرار جزئية”.
ولفت التقرير إلى أنه “من بين المناطق الـ12 التي شملها تقييم قطاع الإسكان، تُعد مناطق صور والنبطية وصيدا وبنت جبيل ومرجعيون الأكثر تضررا، حيث تتركز فيها نسبة 81% من الأضرار والخسائر المقدرة”.
ويقدّر البنك الدولي أن “النزاع خفّض نمو الناتج المحلي الإجمالي الحقيقي للبنان لعام 2024 بنسبة لا تقل عن 6,6%”.
واعتبر أن ذلك “يفاقم خمس سنوات من الانكماش الاقتصادي الحاد المستمر في لبنان الذي تجاوز 34% من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي الحقيقي، مما أدى إلى خسارة ما يعادل 15 عاما من النمو الاقتصادي”.
ويعيش لبنان منذ العام 2019 تحت وطأة أزمة اقتصادية حادة.
