تمكن مؤسس شركة التجارة الإلكترونية الأمريكية العملاقة “أمازون”، جيف بيزوس، من التفوق على المؤسس المشارك والمدير التقني لشركة “أوراكل” الأمريكية لتقنية المعلومات، لاري إليسون، ليحصد بيزوس لقب ثان أغنى شخص في العالم.
وأوضحت مجلة “فوربس” الأمريكية أن أسهم “أمازون” ارتفعت أكثر من 6% يوم الجمعة – نهاية تداولات الأسبوع – بعد أن أعلنت الشركة عن أرباح الربع الثالث التي فاقت توقعات بورصة “وول ستريت”.
وبذلك ارتفعت ثروة بيزوس – التي ترتبط في الغالب بأسهم أمازون – بمقدار ما يصل إلى 12.2 مليار دولار بعد افتتاح السوق من 204.3 مليار دولار في اليوم السابق، لتصل إلى 216.5 مليار دولار، ما يمثل أكبر ارتفاع يومي في صافي الثروة لأي ملياردير .
بينما جاء إليسون – الذي حقق مكاسب بنحو 3.4 مليار دولار – بعد ببيزوس بصافي ثروة تقدر بنحو 208.2 مليار دولار.
