أعلنت وزارة الصحة اللبنانية استشهاد 356 شخصا وإصابة 1246 آخرين، بينهم نساء وأطفال ومسعفون، جراء الغارات الإسرائيلية على جنوب وشرق لبنان منذ صباح اليوم الاثنين.

من جانبه، أعلن وزير التربية اللبناني عباس الحلبي تعطيل المدارس والجامعات غدا الثلاثاء في جميع أنحاء البلاد.
وقررت السلطات فتح المؤسسات التعليمية لإيواء النازحين جراء أعنف قصف إسرائيلي على لبنان منذ 8 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 2023.
ونفذ الجيش الإسرائيلي مئات الغارات الجوية على جنوب وشرق لبنان منذ الصباح، وقال المتحدث بإسمه إن هذا الهجوم يعد “ضربة استباقية” بعد رصد تحركات لحزب الله لاستهداف إسرائيل.
وفي حصيلة أعلنها مساء الاثنين، قال الجيش إنه هاجم 1300 هدف تابع لحزب الله في جميع أنحاء لبنان، مشيرا إلى أنه نفذ أكثر من 650 طلعة هجومية خلال 24 ساعة.
وقال وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي يوآف غالانت في تصريح من مقر قيادة العمليات مساء اليوم إن إسرائيل تقوم “بهدم ما بناه حزب الله منذ 20 عاما”.
