دعا الرئيس السابق لمجلس الأمن القومي الإسرائيلي مئير بن شبات، الجمعة، إلى “إخلاء منطقة شمال قطاع غزة من الفلسطينيين ووقف إدخال المساعدات الإنسانية إليه والإعلان عنه منطقة عسكرية مغلقة”.
وقال بن شبات، وهو أيضاً رئيس معهد “مسغاف” لأبحاث الأمن القومي والاستراتيجية الصهيونية، في تصريح مكتوب : “البقاء في محور فيلادلفيا (الحدود بين غزة ومصر) لا يكفي.. يجب أيضا إخلاء شمال قطاع غزة من السكان وإعلانه منطقة عسكرية مغلقة ووقف إدخال المساعدات الإنسانية إليه”.
وأضاف: “الخطوة التي ينبغي اتخاذها (من إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن) هي تقديم دعم لموقف إسرائيل ومن المحتمل أن مثل هذا الدعم سيساهم في دفع المفاوضات حول الإفراج عن المختطفين قدما”.
وزعم بن شباب، أنه من أجل تحقيق أهداف إسرائيل من الحرب فإنه “يجب إخراج السيطرة عن المعدات الإنسانية التي تدخل القطاع من أيدي حماس لأن هذا هو أنبوب الاكسجين الخاص بها والوسيلة الرئيسية التي تحتفظ من خلالها بسيطرتها على الأرض”.
والمساعدات الإنسانية تصل قطاع غزة بشكل محدود جدا عبر معبر “كرم أبو سالم” على الحدود بين القطاع وإسرائيل وهو خاضع لسيطرة عسكرية إسرائيلية كاملة.
ولا تقوم أي هياكل أو مؤسسات تابعة للحكومة في غزة (تديرها حركة حماس) بتوزيع أو استلام هذه المساعدات وتتولى هذه المهمة منظمات دولية وأممية مثل “الأونروا” و”يونيسف” ومنظمة الصحة العالمية.
