قال مسؤول السياسة الخارجية بالإتحاد الأوروبي، جوزيب بوريل، الجمعة، إن الاعتراف بالدولة الفلسطينية “ليس هدية لحماس”.
وأضاف: “الاعتراف بالدولة الفلسطينية ليس هدية لحماس، بل على العكس تماما.. السلطة الفلسطينية ليست حماس.. بل على العكس من ذلك فهما على خلاف عميق”.
ونوه بوريل بأن الإتحاد الأوروبي تحدث بالفعل وموّل واجتمع مع السلطة الفلسطينية.
وتابع: “في كل مرة يتخذ فيها أحد قرارا بدعم دولة فلسطينية.. يكون رد فعل إسرائيل تحويل الأمر إلى معاداة للسامية”.
وكان رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي، بنيامين نتانياهو، قد ندد، الأربعاء، بإعلان أيرلندا والنرويج وإسبانيا اعترافها قريبا بالدولة الفلسطينية ووصفه بأنه “مكافأة للإرهاب”.
وقال نتانياهو إن إسرائيل لن تتراجع عن “تحقيق النصر” في حرب غزة.
وأضاف في بيان: “هذه ستكون دولة إرهابية.. ستحاول تنفيذ مذبحة السابع من أكتوبر مرارا وتكرارا، وهذا لن نوافق عليه”، في إشارة إلى هجوم حماس وما أعقبه من عملية عسكرية إسرائيلية على غزة.
