بدأ مساء الأول من رمضان عرض الحلقة الأولى من الجزء الثاني من مسلسل “وطن” الذي يأتي بعد النجاح الساحق الذي حققه في جزئه الأول، ويعد مسلسل “وطن 2” أضخم انتاج في العراق لهذه السنة، حيث ينتظره العراقيون والجمهور العربي بعد حضوره اللافت في الجزء الأول، وقد سخرت شركة خمرة للإنتاج الفني لإنجاز هذا المسلسل إمكانيات بشرية وتقنية غير مسبوقة بالعراق، حيث يتطلع المخرج الكبير مهند أبو خمرة الى المنافسة العربية والمشي قدماً بالدراما العراقية، وهو طموح يعكسه من خلال عمل كبير ضخم ومتكامل.
فكرة “وطن 2” هي قصة شخص يتحول لسوبر هيرو بسبب الأوضاع التي يتعرض لها محاولاً من خلالها الانتقام لموت زوجته ليجد نفسه بعدها في مواجهة مع الدولة العميقة ضد الفساد والظلم في الجزء الاول اما احداث الجزء الثاني ستكون مكملة ومختلفة في نفس الوقت حيث سيجد نفسه “وطن” في موقف يفتح له ابواباً لم تكن في الحسبان، وأهم ما يميز الجزء الثاني انتاجياً هو تصنيع سيارة وطن بأيادٍ عراقية وبزمن قياسي، ولأول مرة بتاريخ الدراما العراقية والعربية، كما تم ولأول مرة صناعة تمثال تذكاري لشخصية مسلسل عراقي أو عربي.
مسلسل “وطن 2” هو من تأليف وإخراج مهند أبو خمرة والذي يلعب الدور الرئيس في العمل إلى جانب زهراء بن ميم، علي عيسى، جلال كامل وأسماء أخرى مهمة ومن اهم ضيوف الشرف المتواجدين في العمل الفنان علي جاسم بظهور خاص ومختلف.
وفي تصريحات صحافية أكد مهند أبو خمرة بأن مسلسل “وطن 2” هو تجربة مختلفة حيث أن من تابع الجزء الأول سيفهم بسهولة أحداث الجزء الثاني، ومن لم يتابع الجزء الأول فلن يكون عليه صعباً عليه فهم أحداث الجزء الثاني الذي تبدأ أحداثه بشكل مباشر ومفهوم، وهو يقول في هذا الإطار: “حرصنا في هذا الجزء على الاهتمام بكافة التفاصيل الفنية والتقنية والإنتاجية، وأنا على ثقة بأن هذا العمل سيكون له مكانة مهمة في خارطة الدراما العربية والعراقية على حد سواء” وشكر أبو خمرة في نهاية كلامه شاشة UTV العراقية التي تصدت لعرض هذا العمل خلال الشهر الفضيل.
