أكد رئيس الحكومة اللبنانية نجيب ميقاتي، الثلاثاء، إستعداد بلاده للدخول في مفاوضات لتحقيق عملية إستقرار طويلة الأمد جنوب بلاده.
جاء ذلك خلال لقائه وكيل الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة لعمليات السلام جان بيار لاكروا في السرايا وسط العاصمة بيروت، بحضور المنسقة الخاصة للأمم المتحدة في لبنان يوانا فرونتسكا، وقائد القوات الدولية العاملة في الجنوب “اليونيفيل” الجنرال أرولندو لازارو، والمستشار السياسي هيرفيه لو كوك، وفق بيان لمكتب ميقاتي ، حيث كرر رئيس الحكومة “مطالبة المجتمع الدولي بوقف العدوان الإسرائيلي”.
وأكد “استعداد لبنان للدخول في مفاوضات لتحقيق عملية إستقرار طويلة الأمد في جنوب لبنان وعند الحدود الشمالية لفلسطين المحتلة، والإلتزام بالقرارات الدولية وبإتفاق الهدنة والقرار 1701”.
وفي 11 أغسطس/ آب 2006، تبنى مجلس الأمن الدولي بالإجماع القرار رقم “1701” الذي يدعو إلى وقف كامل للعمليات القتالية بين لبنان وإسرائيل، ودعا إلى إيجاد منطقة بين الخط الأزرق (الفاصل بين لبنان وإسرائيل) ونهر الليطاني جنوب لبنان، تكون خالية من أي مسلحين ومعدات حربية وأسلحة، ما عدا تلك التابعة للقوات المسلحة اللبنانية وقوات “يونيفيل” الأممية.
بدوره دعا لاكروا، بحسب البيان ذاته، “كل الأطراف إلى التهدئة، وإلى دعم الجيش في جنوب لبنان وإستمرار التعاون بينه وبين اليونيفيل بشكل وثيق”.
كما أكد خلال لقائه رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري في بيروت “إلتزام الأمين العام والأمم المتحدة تجاه لبنان وإستمرارها ببذل الجهود مع المجتمع الدولي لخفض التصعيد وصولاً إلى وقف دائم لإطلاق النار”.
وبحسب وكالة الأنباء اللبنانية الرسمية، أعرب لاكروا” عن تخوفه من إستمرار التصعيد القائم في المنطقة وفي لبنان”.
بدوره أثنى بري، وفق الوكالة، “على الجهود التي تبذلها قوات الطوارئ الدولية في هذه المرحلة وشهادتها على التصعيد الإسرائيلي اليومي الذي يطال عمق المناطق السكنية والمدنيين وحتى سيارات الإسعاف والإعلاميين، منتهكة ليس فقط القرار الاممي 1701 إنما كل قواعد الاشتباك”.
و”تضامنا مع قطاع غزة”، يتبادل “حزب الله” وفصائل فلسطينية في لبنان مع الجيش الإسرائيلي قصفا يوميا متقطعا منذ 8 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول الماضي، ما أسفر عن عشرات القتلى والجرحى على طرفي الحدود.
