أشادت حركة المقاومة الإسلامية “حماس”، الأحد، بموقف مسيحيي فلسطين لإقتصار إحتفالهم بعيد الميلاد هذا العام على الشعائر الدينية، نظرا لما يتعرض له قطاع غزة من “عدوان إسرائيلي غاشم”.
جاء ذلك في بيان للحركة على منصة تلغرام، بعد ما قرر مسيحيون في فلسطين الإمتناع عن الإحتفال بعيد الميلاد، والاقتصار على الطقوس الدينية، تضامنا مع قطاع غزة الذي يتعرض لحرب إسرائيلية مدمرة منذ أكثر من شهرين.
وقالت الحركة: “تأتي أعياد أبناء شعبنا المسيحيين هذا العام، في ظل عدوان فاشي مستمر، يشنه الإحتلال (الإسرائيلي) على كافة مكونات شعبنا الفلسطيني، مستهدفاً كلّ مقدّراته ومساجده وكنائسه”.
وأضافت: “نثمّن موقف مسيحيي شعبنا الفلسطيني الوطني المشرف، قَصْر إحتفالاتهم هذا العام، على إقامة الشعائر الدينية والوقوف صفا واحدا مع شعبنا في قطاع غزة الذي يتعرّض لعدوان صهيوني غاشم”.
وأشارت إلى أن قرار مسيحيي فلسطين “يؤكد أن شعبنا بجميع مكوناته، مسلمين ومسيحيين؛ متوحِّد على طريق الصمود على أرضه والحفاظ على هويته، وحماية مقدساته الإسلامية والمسيحية”.
وتقام الإحتفالات للطوائف المسيحية التي تعتمد التقويم الغربي في 25 ديسمبر/ كانون الأول من كل عام، بينما تحتفل الطوائف التي تعتمد التقويم الشرقي في 7 يناير/ كانون الثاني.
وكانت الطوائف المسيحية في الأراضي الفلسطينية أعلنت قبل أيام إلغاء كافة الإحتفالات بأعياد الميلاد بما في ذلك عدم إضاءة شجرة الميلاد لأول مرة في تاريخ فلسطين منذ نكبة عام 1948 بسبب الحرب في غزة، في رسالة تضامن من رؤساء الكنائس المسيحية.
ومنذ 7 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول الماضي، يشن الجيش الإسرائيلي حربا مدمرة على غزة، خلّفت حتى الأحد، 20 ألفا و424 شهيدا، و54 ألفا و36 جريحا معظمهم أطفال ونساء، ودمارا هائلا في البنية التحتية وكارثة إنسانية غير مسبوقة، وفقا لسلطات القطاع والأمم المتحدة.
