قال الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين اليوم الثلاثاء إن روسيا مستعدة للدخول في محادثات مع أوكرانيا والولايات المتحدة وأوروبا بشأن مستقبل أوكرانيا إذا كانوا يرغبون في ذلك، لكن موسكو ستدافع عن مصالحها الوطنية.
وقال الرئيس بوتين، الذي أرسل قوات إلى أوكرانيا في عام 2022، مرارا إنه مستعد للحديث عن السلام، على الرغم من أن المسؤولين الغربيين يقولون إنه ينتظر الانتخابات الرئاسية الأمريكية المقررة في نوفمبر تشرين الثاني قبل أن يبذل جهدا حقيقيا.

وتسيطر روسيا على حوالي 17.5 بالمئة من الأراضي المعترف بها دوليا كجزء من أوكرانيا منذ إنهيار الإتحاد السوفييتي في عام 1991.
كان بوتين يتحدث في إجتماع لوزارة الدفاع حضره كبار القادة العسكريين بمن فيهم وزير الدفاع سيرجي شويجو ورئيس الأركان العامة الجنرال فاليري جيراسيموف وألكسندر بورتنيكوف مدير جهاز الأمن الاتحادي.. وقال بوتين إن القوات الروسية تمتلك الآن زمام المبادرة في ساحة المعركة.
وأضاف “لن نتخلى عن أهداف العملية العسكرية الخاصة” لكنه أضاف أن روسيا بحاجة إلى تحسين الاتصالات العسكرية والإستطلاع والإستهداف وقدرات الأقمار الصناعية.
وتابع أن صناعة الدفاع الروسية تستجيب بشكل أسرع من نظيرتها في الغرب، وأن روسيا ستواصل تطوير قواتها النووية والحفاظ على جاهزيتها القتالية على مستوى عالٍ.
وقال شويجو إن إنتاج روسيا من الدبابات تضاعف منذ فبراير شباط 2022 بمقدار 5.6 مثل والطائرات المسيرة بمقدار 16.8 مثل وقذائف المدفعية بمقدار 17.5 مرة.
وأضاف أن روسيا استقطبت 490 ألف جندي بطريقي التعاقد والتطوع في عام 2023. وفي العام المقبل، ستحاول روسيا زيادة عدد الجنود المتعاقد معهم إلى 745 ألفا.
وتابع أن القوات الروسية زرعت حقول ألغام على مساحة 7000 كيلومتر مربع في أوكرانيا بعضها بعرض يصل إلى 600 متر إلى جانب 1.5 مليون حاجز مضاد للدبابات وألفين كيلومتر من الخنادق المانعة لحركة الدبابات.
وقال بوتين إن عضوية أوكرانيا في حلف شمال الأطلسي “غير مقبولة بالنسبة لروسيا في غضون 10 سنوات ولا في خلال 20 سنة”.
