ذكرت وكالة الأنباء الإيرانية “تسنيم” نقلا عن مصدر، أن قرابة 5 آلاف جندي أمريكي شاركوا في العملية البرية التي نفذها الجيش الإسرائيلي على عدة محاور في قطاع غزة مساء الجمعة.
وبحسب تقرير الوكالة، فإن “ثلاث فرق وعدة ألوية من القوات الأمريكية، شاركت في العملية الليلية، إذ حاولت قوات الجيش الإسرائيلي دخول قطاع غزة من مناطق شرق البريج وبيت حانون وبيت لاهيا وخان يونس”، وأشارت الوكالة إلى أن “إسرائيل إستخدمت خطة مماثلة، في حربها على غزة عام 2014”.
وتقول التقارير إن سبب تقدم الجيش الإسرائيلي في هذه المناطق هو تقسيم قطاع غزة إلى قسمين أو ثلاثة أقسام وقطع الاتصالات بين القوات الفلسطينية قبل إطلاق المرحلة التالية من العملية .
ومساء الجمعة، أعلن المتحدث بإسم الجيش الإسرائيلي دانييل هاغاري، توسيع العمليات البرية للجيش الإسرائيلي، وقال الجيش في وقت لاحق: “نفذت قواتنا غارات جوية على 150 موقعا تحت الأرض لحماس في قطاع غزة”.
وشنت قوات الجيش الإسرائيلي مساء الجمعة، هجوما بريا على عدة محاور في قطاع غزة، وكان أشدها على المحور الشمالي الشرقي لبلدة بيت حانون شمال القطاع، وشرق مخيم البريج وسط القطاع.
وقد أعلنت “كتائب القسام” الجناح العسكري لحركة “حماس”، و”سرايا القدس” الجناح العسكري لحركة “الجهاد الإسلامي”، تصدي مقاتليهم لقوات الجيش الإسرائيلي المتوغلة على كافة المحاور، وأنها خاضت اشتباكات عنيفة مع القوات المتقدمة.
ومنذ مساء السبت، تدور إشتباكات عنيفة بين قوات الجيش الإسرائيلي ومقاتلي المقاومة الفلسطينية على عدد من المحاور في قطاع غزة، وقالت “سرايا القدس” في تصريح مقتضب: “قصفنا قوات العدو المتوغلة في أقصى شمال غرب قطاع غزة بقذائف الهاون”.
