أعلن رئيس الوزراء العراقي مصطفى الكاظمي مساء يوم الأحد إتمام إجراء الانتخابات العامة البرلمانية المبكرة في العراق.
وقال الكاظمي ، في تغريدة عبر حسابه في” تويتر” :”أتممنا واجبنا ووعدنا بإجراء أنتخابات نزيهة آمنة ووفرنا الإمكانات لانجاحها”.
وأضاف :”أشكر شعبنا الكريم، أشكر كل الناخبين والمرشحين والقوى السياسية والمراقبين والعاملين في مفوضية الانتخابات والقوى الأمنية البطلة التي وفرت الأمن، والأمم المتحدة والمرجعية الدينية الرشيدة”.
كانت المراكز الانتخابية في العراق أغلقت أبوابها مساء اليوم بعد إنتهاء عملية التصويت في الانتخابات العامة البرلمانية المبكرة إلكترونيا.
وأعلنت خلية الإعلام الأمني في قيادة العمليات المشتركة العراقية أن العملية الانتخابية جرت بسلاسة وأجواء آمنة من دون حصول أية خروقات أمنية.
ومن المنتظر أن تعلن المفوضية العليا المستقلة للانتخابات في العراق الاثنين نتائج أولية للانتخابات البرلمانية.
ومن المقرر أن تتولى القوات العراقية تأمين ونقل صناديق الاقتراع جوا في وقت لاحق إلى مخازن مؤمنة تحت حراسة القوات العراقية لحين إستكمال الإعلان النهائي لنتائج الانتخابات .
كما ستعلن بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي لرصد الانتخابات العراقية يوم الثلاثاء تقريرا أوليا عن سير الانتخابات البرلمانية المبكرة بعد مشاركتها بفريق رصد كبير.
وأدلي العراقيون بأصواتهم اليوم الأحد في إنتخابات عامة قال كثيرون إنهم سيقاطعونها بعد أن فقدوا الثقة في النظام الديمقراطي الذي أتى به الغزو الأمريكي في 2003.
تأتي هذه الانتخابات قبل موعدها المقرر بعدة أشهر وتجرى وفقا لقانون جديد تم سنه لمساعدة المرشحين المستقلين.. كما أنها جاءت نتيجة إحتجاجات حاشدة مناهضة للحكومة قبل عامين ، لكن من المتوقع أن تكتسح النخبة الحاكمة،التي يهيمن عليها الشيعة، الانتخابات.
ويقول مسؤولون عراقيون ودبلوماسيون أجانب ومحللون إن من غير المتوقع أن تغير النتيجة موازين القوة القائمة في البلاد أو المنطقة.
وتتنافس الولايات المتحدة ودول خليجية عربية وإسرائيل من جانب وإيران من جانب آخر على النفوذ في العراق، الذي يعد بوابة تمكنت من خلالها طهران من تقديم الدعم لجماعات مسلحة تعمل بالوكالة عنها في سوريا ولبنان.
وتفيد مفوضية الانتخابات في البلاد بأن ما لا يقل عن 167 حزبا وأكثر من 3200 مرشح يتنافسون على مقاعد البرلمان وعددها 329.
وعادة ما تعقب الانتخابات العراقية شهور من المفاوضات المطولة بشأن الرئيس ورئيس الوزراء ومجلس الوزراء.

وجاء قرار خفض القوات بعد ضغوط من الأحزاب الشيعية المهيمنة على المشهد في العراق، وتدعم إيران الكثير منها، والتي دعت لخروج القوات الأمريكية بعد قتل واشنطن للقيادي العسكري الإيراني البارز قاسم سليماني في بغداد في 2020.
ومن المتوقع أن يأتي رجل الدين الشيعي مقتدى الصدر، الذي يعارض كل أشكال النفوذ الأجنبي وينافس الجماعات الشيعية الموالية لإيران، في الصدارة في نتيجة الانتخابات.. ودعا الصدر أيضا لسحب القوات الأجنبية.
وأدلى رئيس الوزراء مصطفى الكاظمي، الذي يعتبر على نطاق واسع مقربا من الغرب، بصوته بمجرد بدء التصويت. وقال أمام الصحفيين إنه يدعو شعب العراق للتصويت من أجل البلاد ومستقبلها.
ودعت حكومة الكاظمي لإجراء تلك الانتخابات قبل عدة أشهر من موعدها إستجابة لمطالب محتجين في مظاهرات مناهضة للمؤسسات القائمة في 2019 أطاحت بالحكومة السابقة.
وطالب المحتجون بتوفير الوظائف والخدمات الأساسية والإطاحة بالنخبة الحاكمة التي يعتبرها أغلب العراقيين فاسدة وتبقي البلاد في دوامة البؤس رغم مرور عدة سنوات شهدت فيها البلاد حالة من الاستقرار الأمني النسبي بعد هزيمة الدولة الإسلامية في 2017.
وتعرضت تلك الاحتجاجات لقمع وحشي على يد قوات الأمن وجماعات مسلحة مما أسفر عن مقتل نحو 600 على مدى عدة أشهر.

وأكبر تكتلين شيعيين في إنتخابات يوم الأحد، وهي الانتخابات البرلمانية الخامسة في البلاد منذ 2003، هما تكتل مقتدى الصدر وتحالف منفصل لأحزاب موالية لإيران ولها أجنحة مسلحة.
وللأكراد حزبان رئيسيان يحكمان إقليم كردستان العراق المتمتع بالحكم الذاتي، ويخوض السنة هذه الانتخابات بكتلتين رئيسيتين.
