أعلن مكتب المدعي العام الخميس الحكم على أمل الجراري، السفيرة الليبية السابقة في بلجيكا، بالسجن سبع سنوات بتهمة الفساد أثناء ممارسة مهامها.وجاء في بيان للنيابة العامة أن محكمة جنايات طرابلس حكمت على الدبلوماسية السابقة أمل الجراري بالسجن سبع سنوات بعد إدانتها بـ”أفعال تهدف إلى الحصول على مزايا غير مشروعة واختلاس أموال عامة”.وأضاف البيان أنه تم الحكم عليها أيضًا ب”غرامة تعادل ضعف المبالغ المختلسة”.وأقيلت أمل الجراري بعد انتشار فضيحة تورطت فيها بقضية اختلاس مالي على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.وكانت النيابة العامة قد أوقفتها في تشرين الأول/اكتوبر 2023، واستجوبتها حول “تجاوزات إدارية ومالية” منسوبة إليها، ارتكبت بهدف “الحصول على مزايا مادية غير مشروعة من خلال الاستيلاء على المال العام بطريقة غير مشروعة”، بحسب النيابة العامة.
