ذكر تقرير صادر عن منظمة الصحة العالمية وهيئات أخرى تابعة للأمم المتحدة، أن مضاعفات الحمل أو الولادة أدت إلى وفاة امرأة كل دقيقتين تقريبا خلال عام 2023.
وقال التقرير الذي نشر الإثنين، إن هذا يعادل ما يقدر بنحو 260 ألف امرأة على مستوى العالم.
