أكدت جمعية الاتحاد لحقوق الإنسان، أن العمل الإنساني في دولة الإمارات يعد عملاً مؤسسياً يتسم بالشمولية وسرعة المساعدة والإغاثة من الجهات الرسمية والأهلية، التي يفوق عددها اليوم 43 هيئة ومؤسسة إنسانية في الدولة.
واستذكرت الجمعية، في إطار الاحتفاء بيوم زايد للعمل الإنساني الذي يوافق 19 من شهر رمضان من كل عام هجري، قيمة المساعدات التنموية والإنسانية التي قدمتها الإمارات خلال فترة حكم المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان، طيب الله ثراه، أول رئيس لدولة الإمارات في الفترة من “2 ديسمبر 1971 – 2 نوفمبر 2004″، والبالغة 90.5 مليار درهم، استفادت منها أكثر عن 117 دولة.
وقالت، إن الرؤية الإنسانية لزايد المؤسس، جعلت الإمارات دولة رائدة في العمل الخيري ومساعي السلام الدولي، ونهجه ما زال حاضراً في شتى بقاع الأرض بمئات المبادرات الإنسانية، منها بناء المدن التنموية والبنى التحتية، والمطارات الدولية، والمعاهد الحضارية، والمؤسسات التعليمية، والمراكز الطبية، ناهيك عن الاستثمارات الإماراتية الداعمة للدول التي تعاني اقتصادياً نتيجة النزاعات، والتي قدّرها صندوق النقد الدولي خلال قمة الحكومات العالمية 2025 بنحو 50 مليار دولار.
وأضافت، أن العام 2024 جاء حافلاً بالمبادرات الإنسانية، منها إطلاق مبادرة إرث زايد الإنساني بقيمة 20 مليار درهم للأعمال الإنسانية في المجتمعات الأكثر حاجة حول العالم، وتفعيلاً لهذه المبادرة تم إنشاء مؤسسة إرث زايد الإنساني التي تضم 14 جهة، تخليداً لذِكرى المؤسس “طيب الله ثراه” ، والجهود المستمرة للدولة في العمل الإنساني والخيري، بما ينسجم مع المبدأ التاسع من المبادئ الخمسين للدولة.
وتحدثت الجمعية عن إنجازات “زايد الخير” منها المساهمة في فكرة إنشاء مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، وتأسيس صندوق أبوظبي للتنمية، وافتتاح صندوق الزواج لمساعدة الشباب في تكاليف الزواج، وإمكانية أن يقدم المتزوج طلبا للحصول على أرض أو منزل سكني، والتعليم والعلاج المجاني، وتوفير المساكن الشعبية، وتحويل الصحراء إلى جنة خضراء، وإنشاء المؤسسات الخيرية، ومساعدة الدول الفقيرة والمحتاجة، والشعوب التي تقطّعت بهم السبل أثناء الأزمات.
وتطرقت الجمعية إلى الجوائز والأوسمة الدولية التي نالها “زايد الخير” تقديراً لدوره الإنساني ومنها: الوثيقة الذهبية (1985)، ورجل العام (1988)، ووشاح جامعة الدول العربية (1993)، ووشاح رجل العام للبيئة والإنماء المستدام (1993)، والوسام الذهبي للتاريخ العربي (1995)، والشخصية الإنمائية (1995)، وشهادة الباندا الذهبية (1995)، وميدالية وجائزة تقديرية من المنظمة الدولية “فاو” (1995)، ودرع العمل (1996)، وجوائز أعمال الخليج (1996)، ووسام المحافظة على البيئة الباكستاني (1997)، وأبرز شخصية عالمية (1998)، وزايد داعية البيئة (1998)، وزايد شخصية العام الإسلامية (1999)، وزايد رجل البيئة (2000)، وميدالية اليوم العالمي للأغذية (2001)، وجائزة كان الكبرى للمياه (2001)، وجائزة أبطال الأرض (2005).
