حصل المغرب، الخميس، على منصب نائب رئيس المنظمة الدولية للشرطة الجنائية (إنتربول) عن القارة الإفريقية، في الانتخابات التي شهدتها الدورة الثانية والتسعين لهذه المنظمة، بمدينة غلاسكو بإسكتلندا.
جاء ذلك بحسب بيان للمديرية العامة للأمن الوطني بالمغرب، على هامش الدورة المنعقدة ما بين 4 و7 نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني 2024.
ولفت البيان إلى أنه “تقديرا لجهود المغرب في صون الأمن والاستقرار على الصعيد الإقليمي والدولي.. فقد تم التصويت، الخميس، بأغلبية كبيرة على مرشح المملكة المغربية في انتخابات اللجنة التنفيذية للإنتربول، لشغل منصب نائب رئيس المنظمة الدولية للشرطة الجنائية عن قارة إفريقيا”.
وبحسب البيان، “جرى انتخاب ممثل المملكة المغربية بالأغلبية من طرف مندوبي 96 دولة عضو، بفارق كبير مقارنة مع باقي المرشحين، وذلك ضمن عملية التصويت التي شهدتها هذه الدورة”.
ورشح المغرب لهذا المنصب، محمد الدخيسي، مدير الشرطة القضائية الذي يرأس المكتب المركزي الوطني للإنتربول بالرباط، وفق البيان.
ويتطلع المغرب، بحسب البيان، بعد هذه العضوية، إلى “تنسيق الجهود مع مكاتب الإنتربول في الدول الإفريقية وفي باقي دول العالم، بهدف توفير الاستجابة السريعة والناجعة لمواجهة التهديدات الإرهابية..”.
ويعد الإنتربول أكبر منظمة دولية لمكافحة مختلف أنواع الجرائم والتهديدات الأمنية، تأسست عام 1923، وتضم 194 دولة عضو، يُسمح لها بالوصول لقاعدة البيانات وشبكة الاتصال الخاصة بها.
