وكشف في تغريدة عبر حسابه الرسمي على منصة “إكس” (تويتر سابقا) عن أنّ موعد إنفصال المركبة “دراغون” عن محطة الفضاء الدولية سيكون اليوم الأحد 3 سبتمبر/أيلول 2023 الساعة 3:05 مساء بتوقيت دولة الإمارات، وسيكون موعد الهبوط على الأرض الإثنين 4 سبتمبر/أيلول 2023، الساعة 8:07 صباحا بتوقيت دولة الإمارات.
وبحسب موقع محطة الفضاء الدولية، فإن رحلة العودة تبدأ بانفصال مركبة الهبوط عن محطة الفضاء الدولية، ثم تتجه نحو الغلاف الجوي للكرة الأرضية، لتبدأ المرحلة الحرجة، والتي تبلغ فيها سرعة المركبة 28 ألف كيلو متر في الساعة، فيما تصل إلى درجة الحرارة القصوى البالغة 1900 درجة مئوية، وتكمن خطورة تلك المرحلة في إنقطاع الاتصال تماماً بين مركز الإتصال الأرضي والمركبة، لمدة تصل إلى قرابة 6 دقائق.
