كشفت (القناة 12) عن تفاصيل جديدة، في اللقاء الذي جمع الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس، ووزير الجيش الإسرائيلي بيني غانتس، قبل عدة أسابيع.
وقالت القناة الإسرائيلية: “كشفنا حصريًا أن غانتس قال في لقائه مع أبو مازن إنه “يريد أن يكون رابين الجديد”، وأضاف: “أنا أؤمن بحل الدولتين .. لكن في هذه الحكومة هناك قيود”.
وأواخر شهر أغسطس، إلتقى الرئيس عباس لأول مرة غانتس في مقر الرئاسة بمدينة رام الله وسط الضفة الغربية، وقال حسين الشيخ رئيس الهيئة العامة للشؤون المدنية: إنه تم البحث في العلاقات الفلسطينية- الإسرائيلية من كل جوانبها.
فيما قالت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية: إن غانتس أبلغ عباس أن تل أبيب مستعدة لسلسلة إجراءات من شأنها تعزيز اقتصاد السلطة الفلسطينية.
